The 19-day programme offers more than $420,000 in guarantees, led by a $250,000 Main Event and a $100,000 Mini Main Event
Two headline tournaments and an expanded mix of formats will anchor Rivers Casino Schenectady’s largest poker programme of September.
The fourth Electric City Poker Series will run from September 14 to 27 in the casino’s Poker Room and Van Slyck’s. Preliminary Milestone Satellites begin on September 1.
Rivers Casino says the schedule comprises 12 trophy events and eight satellites across 19 different days. Total guarantees exceed $420,000, including 18 guaranteed satellite seats.
Each tournament winner will receive an Electric City Poker Series trophy. A separate leaderboard will award $2,000 to the leading points earner, $1,000 for second place and $500 for third.
Mini Main Event offers six starting flights
The $400 No-Limit Hold’em Mini Main Event will take place from September 14 to 20 with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Players can enter through six Day 1 flights. One in every eight entrants will advance to Day 2 and enter the money.
Participants who qualify more than once can surrender an additional stack and receive a $1,500 double-bag bonus for each stack surrendered, subject to the tournament rules.
The $1,200 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event follows from September 23 to 27. It carries a $250,000 guarantee and offers four Day 1 flights, together with a $4,000 double-bag bonus.
Satellites provide routes into the Main Event
Milestone Satellites are scheduled for September 1, 3, 8, 10, 13, 23 and 24.
The $155 satellites award a $1,200 Main Event seat to one in every 10 entrants, with at least two seats guaranteed per tournament. The $285 satellites award one seat for every five entrants and guarantee at least three seats.
The announcement states that the complete series includes eight satellites, although it lists seven satellite dates. Players should consult the official schedule for the individual starting times and the distribution of events across those dates.
Five formats added to the schedule
The $350 Rivers Revival returns with a $15,000 guarantee. An eliminated player can revive with a stack of 20 big blinds and continue in the tournament under the event’s specific rules.
The Ladies Event, Seniors 50+ Event and Omaha High-Low Event also return.
Five formats are new to the series in 2026: Monster Stack Rush, Double Green Chip Bounty, Pot-Limit Omaha, Black Chip Bounty and Deuces Wild.
From September 1 to 18, an eligible cash-game player who makes a two-card royal flush can also receive a $1,200 Main Event seat. Participation is restricted to qualifying games and players meeting the Poker Room’s promotional requirements.
Registration opens in the Rivers Casino Poker Room at 10am on each event day. All participants must be aged 21 or older.
