The Viking-themed game lets players divide their bet between four characters before multipliers, treasures and obstacles determine the outcome
Giving players control over the initial distribution of their stake adds a decision-making element before the game’s animated descent begins.
R. Franco Digital has released Cliff Jumpers, a new slot built around four Viking characters attempting to jump from a cliff to a longship below.
Before the round starts, players decide how to divide their total bet between the four characters. Each selected Viking then follows an individual route during the fall.
The mechanic allows players to spread their stake across several characters or concentrate it on fewer participants. The allocation determines how much of the total wager is exposed to the outcomes encountered by each Viking.
Treasures and obstacles modify the stake
Characters can encounter multiplier values and treasure chests as they descend towards the ship.
The most valuable treasure can multiply the allocated stake by up to eight times, according to R. Franco Digital.
Obstacles create the opposing risk. These can apply reductions described by the supplier as reaching up to five times, although the public game announcement does not explain the precise calculation used.
The objective is for the selected characters to reach the Viking longship with the highest possible combined reward.
Its structure places the player’s main decision at the beginning of the round. The remainder of the sequence presents the results through an animated journey rather than a conventional reel-based format.
Player choice continues recent design approach
R. Franco Digital says Cliff Jumpers follows other recent releases that give players more visible control over how a round is configured.
In this case, the decision concerns stake allocation rather than the underlying outcome. The distribution chosen by the player changes the amount attached to each character, while the game’s certified mechanics continue to determine the results.
