HIPTHER Warsaw Summit sets agenda around iGaming, compliance and technology

The two-day event will connect gambling regulation with AI, payments, cybersecurity and digital identity on 27–28 October

Bringing these subjects into one programme reflects how closely product development, compliance and technology decisions are now connected across regulated European markets.

HIPTHER Warsaw Summit 2026 will take place at the InterContinental Warsaw by IHG on October 27 and 28.

The event is designed for operators, regulators, suppliers, legal and compliance specialists, technology providers, fintech companies and other senior decision-makers.

Its programme will cover developments in Poland and the wider European market, with sessions examining how businesses can respond to higher regulatory expectations while supporting player protection and sustainable growth.

Regulation, AML and player protection

Gambling regulation will form a central part of the agenda alongside compliance, market development and Responsible Gambling.

Sessions will also address anti-money laundering controls, fraud prevention and the movement of funds through regulated digital businesses.

Digital identity and eIDAS 2.0 will provide another area of discussion. The revised European framework is intended to expand the use of secure electronic identification and digital credentials across the EU.

For gambling operators, these developments can affect customer verification, onboarding, data handling and interactions with payment systems.

Technology programme extends beyond gambling

The summit will examine the growing connections between iGaming, fintech, banking and payments.

Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and operational infrastructure will also feature, including the responsible implementation of AI and the resilience of digital systems.

Marketing sessions will cover SEO, business development and visibility within AI-powered search services. The programme will consider how changes in online discovery may affect brand positioning and customer acquisition.

Leadership and commercial strategy will complete the cross-sector agenda.

Zoltan Tündik, Co-Founder and Head of Business at HIPTHER

“In an event landscape increasingly dominated by overwhelming mega-shows, HIPTHER Warsaw Summit is intentionally built around focus, access and value.

“As technology, compliance and market demands converge faster than ever, our goal is to bring the right leaders into the same room, not just to discuss what is changing across Europe, but to leave with clear, actionable strategies for what to do next.

“From AI implementation and eIDAS 2.0 to Responsible Gambling and payments, this year’s agenda brings regulators, operators and technology specialists together for direct dialogue and practical learning that extends beyond the stage.”

Boutique format prioritises direct access

HIPTHER is positioning the Warsaw Summit as a focused alternative to events built around large exhibition floors.

Attendees will be able to continue discussions with speakers and delegates during structured breaks, lunches and evening gatherings.

Morning wellness activities and networking will also form part of the two-day schedule. These sessions are intended to provide repeated meeting opportunities without forcing delegates to choose between the conference programme and separate networking events.

Academy workshops and EiGE Awards

HIPTHER Academy will add expert-led workshops focused on applying the subjects discussed during the main conference.

The organiser says the Academy is intended to help participants translate regulatory, operational and technological knowledge into practical professional skills. Individual workshop subjects and availability will depend on the final programme.

The summit will also host the European iGaming Excellence Awards 2026. The EiGE Awards recognise companies, products, campaigns, teams and individuals working across the European gaming and technology sectors.

Award winners will be announced as part of the conference’s evening programme.

The complete summit agenda is still developing, with further speakers and session details expected before the event.
