Pre-registration of attendees confirms great interest shown by gaming sector in Peru
Never before has there been so much interest in Peru from local leaders in sports betting and online gambling to attend an event specializing in this new and thriving sector, such as with GOL EXPO PERU.
“The reason is simple. This area of betting is legal, “says Ricki Chavez-Munoz, CEO of Greata Group, co-organizers of the Peruvian event. “To date, there is no legislation or regulation for online gambling operations in Peru and, while this is the case, local businessmen need only comply with the commercial and legislative regulations that exist for all business to operate in the country”.
It is well known that the legislation on Internet betting is at an advanced stage for imminent publication. To inform the sector about the latest developments in this bill, Manuel San Román Benavente, head of the General Directorate of Casino Games and Slot Machines from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, will give the welcome speech to the attendees of GOL EXPO PERU.
The conference program features presentations by leaders of the Peruvian sector such as Fredy Gamarra and Carlos Fonseca. A Round Table event will also be held, where existing Colombian online gaming operators will be sharing their experiences with local entrepreneurs regarding the fledgling South American sector.
