The media agreement will extend the reach of EGR Global’s executive interview series through dedicated editorial coverage
The partnership creates an additional distribution channel for discussions with senior online gambling executives while keeping EGR Global as the destination for the original episodes.
Gamblers Connect has become the exclusive coverage partner for Power Seat, an interview podcast produced by EGR Global.
Under the agreement, every episode will receive a dedicated article in the Latest Podcasts section of Gamblers Connect. The coverage will identify the main subjects and takeaways before directing readers to the complete episode on EGR Global.
The arrangement does not transfer ownership or distribution of the podcast. EGR will continue to produce and publish the original interviews, while Gamblers Connect will provide independent supporting coverage through its own editorial schedule.
Interviews focus on executive decision-making
Power Seat is hosted by EGR Global’s Dan Thomas and uses one-to-one interviews to examine the careers, decisions and strategies of senior online gambling executives.
The first episode featured Pontus Lindwall, CEO of Betsson Group. Its discussion covered his career at the operator, changes within the industry and concerns about the growth of unregulated gambling.
Mattias Wedar, CEO of LeoVegas Group, appeared in the second episode. That interview examined leadership, recruitment, corporate culture and the balance between data and executive judgement.
Future episodes are expected to cover subjects including regulatory change, compliance, market entry, technology and corporate strategy.
Partnership extends existing media output
Gamblers Connect operates as an independent B2B iGaming publication covering company news, interviews, podcasts and industry developments.
Its Power Seat articles will appear alongside the platform’s existing podcast coverage rather than as reproductions of EGR content.
EGR Global’s wider editorial operation includes breaking news, market analysis, research, rankings, awards and industry events for operators, suppliers and affiliates.
