AGA introduces State of Play
State of Play should be every gaming professional’s tool of choice to stay in the game!

In his weekly address, Bill Miller, President and CEO of the American Gaming Association, writes:
“I’m excited to share with you a new tool that enables AGA members, the gaming industry and the public to quickly access information about the State of Play of gaming across the United States.
“State of Play is an interactive map that couples national and state-by-state economic impact data and key regulatory and statutory gaming provisions for U.S. gaming jurisdictions, drawing from AGA’s propriety research including State of the States and studies of economic impact of the commercial and tribal gaming industries.

“This new tool replaces the By the Book resource, part of our ongoing Get to Know Gaming campaign, and brings this valuable tool onto the recently-updated AmericanGaming.org for ease of use,” adds the AGA CEO.
“State of Play now includes downloadable economic one-pagers and regulatory fact sheets for each state.
“I encourage you to share this publicly-available resource with your colleagues, policymakers and other interested stakeholders to help communicate the gaming industry’s role as an economic leader. If you have questions about this new tool or future AGA research, David Forman, our senior director of research, will be happy to help,” concludes Miller.
As gaming develops into the stratosphere in US with sports betting operations the length and breath of the country, AGA’s State of Play should be every gaming professional’s tool of choice to stay, in the game!
