WA Hospitality to manage Sihanoukville casino hotel
150-key hotel is under construction and is scheduled to open in first quarter of 2021
Malaysian-based WA Hospitality has signed a management contract to manage the Won Majestic Casino Hotel & Resort in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. The 150-key hotel is under construction and is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2021, in a location across the street from Sokha Vegas Casino,

Local reports indicate that this is the first overseas management contract won by WA Hospitality, which was established in 2015 as a subsidiary company of World Avenues, established in the UK in 1995.
“It is not your typical casino hotel as this one will be right next to the beach and it will be an upscale, five-star property. The hotel concept is to provide entertainment and excellent personalised service,” said Ally Bhoonee, WA Hospitality’s executive director.
According to the firm, the property is looking at an 80 percent occupancy in the first year of operations, based on projections. Amenities will include a KTV lounge with advance karaoke system, five F&B outlets, an infinity rooftop pool and a 24-hour fully equipped gym overlooking the beachfront, as well as SKY BAR and club, signature Sky Bridge Restaurant, parking for 300 cars and 150 motorcycles.

SihanoukVille is located on the coast of Cambodia, about halfway between Thailand and Vietnam, on the Bay of Thailand. It is a spread out tourist city for both foreigners and local people from all over the country, though now, mostly just Chinese come here for gambling or work. Three sides of the city are bordered by tropical beaches and islands. Filled with empty beaches, crowded beaches, seafood, restaurants, bars, Buddhist Temples, casinos, hotels, and more beaches and casinos. At several hundred places, English is spoken; and many Chinese speakers are here as well. About 20 other languages are spoken at various guesthouses and restaurants.
