Gambling.com’s interactive Las Vegas campaign draws over 14,000 votes and 5 million impressions as Red claims victory
The age-old casino debate — Red or Black — has finally been settled, with Red emerging victorious in Gambling.com’s world-first live voting event on the Las Vegas Strip.
Hosted on a massive digital billboard from October 7–14, 2025, Gambling.com — a global leader in online casino comparison and reviews — invited the Vegas public and the wider gaming community to decide once and for all:
“When the chips are down… do you go Red or Black?”
Over 14,000 people participated, with results confirming Red as the people’s champion, collecting 7,783 votes versus 6,367 for Black.
Beyond the Strip, the Red or Black? campaign sparked a worldwide conversation, reaching over 1 million users on X (formerly Twitter) and generating more than 5 million total impressions across social media platforms — proving this was more than just a Vegas moment, but a global gaming event.
Lighting up the Strip for an entire week, the interactive billboard featured a real-time vote count updated every 60 seconds, allowing locals, tourists, and online participants to cast their votes and even enter a VIP Las Vegas experience giveaway.
The campaign drew attention from all corners of the Strip — from G2E 2025 industry attendees to sports fans in town for the Raiders, Golden Knights, and UNLV games — each joining the conversation and contributing to the final verdict.
Now, with Red officially declared the winner, the long-standing casino conundrum is settled — at least for now.
Dean Ryan, Marketing Director at Gambling.com:
“Our world-first interactive Las Vegas billboard has proved to be a hit, with thousands of casino players in Las Vegas and across the world taking part in our Red or Black campaign. The famous Las Vegas Strip really was the perfect backdrop for this debate to be housed, but the global interest outside of Sin City itself really adds additional weight to the final verdict.”
