Merkur expands US gaming portfolio for G2E 2026

New Gaming Arts titles, Mod Ex cabinets and Spintec electronic table games will feature across Merkur’s two exhibition stands

Merkur will use G2E Las Vegas to demonstrate how its acquisition of Gaming Arts and Nevada licensing have strengthened its position in the US casino equipment market.

The German gaming group will exhibit at stands 3353 and 3650 at The Venetian Expo. The wider G2E programme runs from 28 September to 1 October, while the exhibition floor will be open from 29 September to 1 October.

US expansion follows Gaming Arts acquisition

Merkur completed its acquisition of Las Vegas-based Gaming Arts on 15 September 2025, following approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission.

The transaction followed Merkur Gaming US receiving a Nevada licence to manufacture and distribute gaming products. Together, these developments gave the group a direct operating platform from which to expand in the United States.

Dominik Raasch, Member of the Management Board at Merkur Games

“The 2025 edition of G2E was a particularly important milestone for us. With our distribution and manufacturing licence in hand and the acquisition of Gaming Arts completed, we were increasingly recognised not only as an established international supplier, but also as a genuine competitor and part of the US gaming market.

“The positive response we received in Las Vegas gave us further momentum. We are looking forward to returning to G2E with an even stronger portfolio and continuing to strengthen our position in the American market, which plays a central role in our international growth strategy.”

New linked progressives and slot content

Merkur’s presentation will include Paw Link and Dimension Link, two Linked Progressive products introduced at ICE Barcelona 2026.

Wish Paw and Voodoo Paw will become the latest additions to the Paw Link range. The titles introduce new characters while retaining the linked jackpot structure of the original product.

Gaming Arts will contribute several new releases, including Wild Temple 2, Imperial River Temple, 7’s Fire Blitz, Showtime and Mysteries of Atlantis.

The portfolio will also feature Whirl Wins and Lion’s Amulet, together with Prime Line. The new multigame package combines selected titles from Merkur’s M-Line and M-Prime collections.

Mod Ex cabinet receives North American update

The games will be presented on Merkur’s Mod Ex cabinet family, including the Mod Ex 332 and Mod Ex J55.

The modular cabinet system allows operators to select different monitor, console and base configurations according to their floor requirements.

Merkur will also introduce a redesigned Mod Ex upright cabinet for North America. The model features a 49-inch C-curved display and an updated version of the cabinet’s established modular design.

Spintec and GeWeTe complete the exhibition

Cash-handling specialist GeWeTe will present equipment for validating, dispensing and recycling banknotes and coins. The company forms part of Merkur Group’s cash-management operations.

Electronic table game supplier Spintec will exhibit its Charisma range, including Charisma Craps and an updated baccarat product with an expanded selection of side bets.

The presentation will also include the Charisma Stand Alone multigame terminal. It combines six virtual games within one compact unit and incorporates Spintec’s MultiView functionality.

Spintec will stage a tournament using an amphitheatre-style configuration as part of the companies’ exhibition programme.

Marcel Heutmekers, Senior Vice President of Merkur Games International

“G2E is an important stage for us to illustrate what defines the new Merkur and where we are heading. With a portfolio combining the latest Gaming Arts titles, Merkur games and Spintec’s product offering, we are bringing the combined development strength of our group to the show.

“The progress we have seen over the past 12 months has been impressive, and in Las Vegas we want to demonstrate that this journey is far from over.”
