Next-generation bill validator adds greater processing power, enhanced imaging and deeper transaction data for casino operators
Casino cash handling is becoming increasingly data-led, and JCM Global will use its G2E showcase to present technology designed for faster validation, stronger authentication and more automated operations.
The company will stage the world premiere of iVIZION 2 at Booth 4039. The new bill validator builds on the original iVIZION platform with redesigned processing, imaging and data-management capabilities.
JCM says iVIZION 2 uses two 800 MHz ARM processors to provide up to eight times more processing power than comparable validators. The architecture is intended to run more advanced authentication routines while processing banknotes with greater speed and precision.
Its next-generation contact image sensor captures the front and back of each note at 200 dots per inch in full colour and infrared. According to JCM, this provides four times the imaging resolution of typical competing products.
Optical character recognition enables the unit to read serial numbers and other banknote information. This can strengthen counterfeit detection, support anti-money laundering controls and provide operators with more detailed transaction data.
The validator also includes 256 Mb of flash memory for larger currency libraries, upgraded algorithms and future software releases. Its 4 Gb of total memory is described as offering up to 64 times the capacity of comparable products.
JCM has engineered iVIZION 2 for as many as two million operating cycles. The company says its longer service life can reduce maintenance, replacement requirements and downtime on the casino floor.
Broader cash-handling portfolio
JCM will accompany the launch with a range of bill validation products, including UBA Pro, UBA Pro 2 BNF with bulk note feed, UBA Pro-RQ, MRX, DBV-400 and DBV-500.
Its printer display will include the GEN5 Thermal Printer, CouponXpress and the EP802-TM and EP802-TMP roll printers supplied by Eurocoin.
The company will also present its FUZION, ICB Intelligent Cash Box and PromoNet systems, together with CountR’s TITA table game solution.
iVIZION 2 is designed to work within JCM’s wider technology environment, including ICB, FUZION, iTITO and the ICB ASAP robotic automation platform.
Automated count-room demonstration
JCM will present a simulated count room to demonstrate how robotic automation can reduce manual interaction with cash box contents.
The demonstration will combine ICB ASAP with Giesecke+Devrient’s M5 system and NotaTray. The configuration is intended to provide more secure asset processing, improve productivity and limit the handling of cash during count-room operations.
The display reflects JCM’s wider focus on moving casinos towards more connected and automated cash-management processes.
Fujitsu cash recycling and dispensing products
Following its acquisition of Fujitsu’s cash recycler and dispenser division, JCM will also display several products from the acquired portfolio.
These will include the GSR 50 cash recycler and the F53, F56 and F610 bill-dispensing units. The products broaden JCM’s offering beyond traditional gaming-floor validation and into additional cash-management applications.
JCM’s digital signage range will complete the presentation. Products will include its Video Wall, CLEAR half-wall and full-wall displays, and single- and double-sided ePOSTER units.
JCM Global has developed transaction and payment technologies since 1955. Its products are used across gaming, banking, kiosks, retail, transportation and vending.
The company will present iVIZION 2 and its wider product portfolio at G2E 2026, Booth 4039, at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.
