JCM Global completes three digital signage installations at Resorts World New York City

New column wraps, a ceiling display and a video wall give the casino greater control over promotions and the visual atmosphere of its gaming floor

JCM Global has completed three large-scale Digital Signage Solutions installations at Resorts World Casino New York City.

The displays are positioned around the casino’s main entrance and Million Dollar Alley, creating programmable visual areas that can be adapted for promotions, gaming content and different atmospheres throughout the day.

The project forms part of a broader programme of technology enhancements that JCM is delivering at the Queens property.

Six programmable column wraps

The first installation comprises six column wraps built with JCM’s DSS Architectural solution.

The flexible LED panels have a 1.8mm pixel pitch and cover an area measuring 24 feet wide by 14.5 feet high, approximately 7.3 by 4.4 metres.

Resorts World can coordinate content across all six columns or use them independently in different combinations. This provides the property with flexibility to create unified visual sequences or display separate promotional messages.

Ceiling display stretches 51 feet

JCM also installed a ceiling-mounted DSS Video Wall near the casino entrance.

The display measures almost 12 feet wide and 51 feet long, equivalent to approximately 3.7 by 15.5 metres, and has a 1.9mm pixel pitch.

An integrated controller allows the casino to programme video and still imagery, alter the surrounding atmosphere and schedule different content according to the time of day or activity on the gaming floor.

Million Dollar Alley receives new video wall

The third installation is positioned above a bank of slot machines in Million Dollar Alley.

Measuring more than 21 feet wide and 3.5 feet high, approximately 6.4 by 1.1 metres, the video wall creates a visual focal point within the casino.

Resorts World can use the display to promote new games, highlight offers and communicate other information to players.

The latest work follows two previous JCM signage projects at the property. Those installations introduced digital displays to the hotel lobby and electronic table games area.

JCM has also installed CountR’s TITA™ Table Game System on each of Resorts World Casino New York City’s 325 new table games.

Further enhancements are scheduled at the property during the coming year as JCM continues its wider technology installation programme.
