JAPAN – Casino regulator seeking public opinion feedback
JCRC regulations to apply to approved casinos in Integrated Resorts in Japan provinces
In a website announcement, the Japan Casino Regulatory Commission (JCRC) is seeking public opinion feedback regarding “Draft Enforcement Regulations of the Specified Complex Tourist Facility Area Development Law Related to the Casino Regulatory Commission.”
The JCRC has a series of requirements for enforcing the casino-related regulations, according to Act No. 80 of 2018, which approved casinos in Integrated Resorts in Japan provinces and are targeting public opinion feedback until May 9th, on the following:
- Procedures related to draft rules for enforcement of the Specified Complex Tourist Facility Area Development Law
- Draft rules regarding specific fund transfer performance deposit and specific fund acceptance deposit
- Procedures related to draft law enforcement rules regarding promotion of administration utilizing information and communication technology related to laws and regulations under the jurisdiction of the JCRC
- “Regulations concerning the Promotion of Administration Utilizing Information and Communication Technology Related to Laws and Regulations Under the Jurisdiction of the JCRC
- “Promotion of administration utilizing information and communication technology related to laws and regulations under the jurisdiction of the JCRC
- “Draft order to revise a part of the law enforcement regulations regarding promotion of administration utilizing information and communication technology related to laws and regulations under the jurisdiction of relevant administrative agencies
- “Draft notification regarding promotion of administration utilizing information and communication technology related to laws and regulations under the jurisdiction of the Casino Regulatory Commission”
- Opinion solicitation procedure related to the draft examination criteria related to the disposal of permits, etc. for the manufacturing industry of casino-related equipment, etc. based on the Specified Complex Tourist Facility Area Development Law and the designation of designated testing institutions, etc.
