IGT has appointed Mark Wadley to oversee its global land-based gaming operations, bringing product, sales and operational functions under a single leadership structure
Under the new role, Mark Wadley will take responsibility for an integrated land-based gaming division covering global sales, product management, field services, manufacturing, marketing, external communications and government relations. The appointment reflects IGT’s effort to align its product, commercial and operational capabilities more closely as it looks to improve execution and support the next phase of growth across its gaming business.
The company said Wadley’s appointment is subject to all required regulatory approvals. Before joining IGT, he served as chief marketing officer at one of the company’s global competitors and built a track record around linking product strategy, customer insight and commercial delivery to drive growth.
In his new position as Incoming President of Land-Based Gaming, Wadley will report directly to Hector Fernandez, CEO of IGT.
Hector Fernandez, CEO of IGT, said: “Mark is a proven leader with a deep understanding of how to connect product, customer insight and commercial execution to drive performance. As we continue to strengthen our Gaming business, bringing these capabilities together under one leader is a critical step in improving how we operate and deliver for our customers. Mark’s experience will help us accelerate that progress.”
Mark Wadley, Incoming President of Land-Based Gaming at IGT, said: “IGT has all the core elements of a winning gaming business, from differentiated content to global scale and long-standing customer relationships. The opportunity now is to operate with greater alignment and discipline, ensuring that how we develop, position, and deliver our products translates more consistently into performance for our customers. That focus on execution will define the next phase of growth.”
IGT highlighted Wadley’s background across both the gaming and biotech sectors, describing him as an executive known for building high-performing teams, encouraging innovation and delivering results in fast-moving markets. The company added that his cross-industry experience supports a balance between strengthening core capabilities and identifying new growth opportunities.
