IGSA’s GSATS Technology Summit Celebrated as a Major Success

NGCB Chairman Mike Dreitzer outlines vision for Nevada to reclaim global leadership in gaming innovation

The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) has announced the successful conclusion of its GSATS Conference, themed “Evolving Gaming Through Technology.” The event featured a keynote address from Mike Dreitzer, Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), marking one of his first major industry speeches since taking office.

Chairman Dreitzer shared his forward-looking vision to re-establish Nevada as the gold standard for global gaming regulation and a driving force in technological innovation. His remarks highlighted a commitment to accelerating regulatory processes, modernising outdated requirements, and fostering more collaborative communication with stakeholders.

“My goal is for the approval of technology to match the speed of business. NGCB’s fundamental values of transparency, consistency, and communication will be reinforced. Communication will be a two-way street. I would like to formally invite all stakeholders in the industry, operators, and suppliers to ask us about new technologies because we want to have that discussion,” Dreitzer stated.

Mark Pace, President of IGSA, praised the Chairman’s proactive stance and alignment with IGSA’s mission:
“IGSA was thrilled and honored to have Chairman Dreitzer address our conference attendees. His commitment to the importance of standards was evident, as was his plan to amend dated technical requirements to bring them in line with current technologies. His desire to engage with the industry, be open to technical innovation, and support standards aligns perfectly with IGSA’s mission. We were pleased with the success of this GSATS conference and look forward to welcoming the wide range of companies with a stake in gaming once more in 2026.”

The GSATS conference drew a broad cross-section of companies invested in gaming technology, standards development, and the future of regulatory innovation. IGSA anticipates further expanding participation next year as the organisation continues to drive industry-wide collaboration.
