ICE Landmark Awards honour excellence, innovation and community impact at ICE Barcelona 2026

ICE Landmark Awards at ICE Barcelona 2026 recognised organisations and individuals for leadership, innovation, journalism and long-term sector contributions

The annual ICE Landmark Awards have recognised a cross-section of organisations and individuals from across the international gambling sector, with this year’s honours presented at ICE Barcelona ’26.

The awards highlight major milestones and sustained contributions spanning industry leadership, business development, innovation, legal and regulatory influence, and community impact. According to the organisers, recipients are selected through industry recommendations and are endorsed by ICE.

Margaret Dunn, Portfolio Director at ICE, said: “The Landmark Awards were created to recognise the personalities and businesses setting new standards and inspiring others across the gaming sector. Based on industry recommendations and proudly endorsed by ICE they shine a spotlight on the people and organisations that are shaping the business.

“First introduced at ICE 2019, the ‘Landmarks’ have celebrated excellence across every discipline, from game design and technology innovation to sustainability, safer gambling and community impact. Above all, this year’s recipients reflect the creativity, collaboration and entrepreneurialism that underpin the global gaming business. In that sense, the Landmark Awards celebrate not just success, but the spirit of the industry itself.”

This year’s recipients included Novomatic (45 years since its founding), IGT (50 years of technological and industry leadership) and Play’n GO (20 years of game development). The honours also recognised GoldenRace for two decades of innovation, Global Gaming Expo (G2E) following its 25th edition in 2025, and Amusnet marking a decade of international growth.

Legal and association milestones were also highlighted, including Philippe Vlaemminck of Vlaemminck Law for nearly three decades of influence on regulation and legal frameworks, as well as Spain-based organisations Club de Convergentes and Asensi Abogados for their respective anniversaries and sector contributions.

In the UK and European amusement segment, Electrocoin was recognised ahead of its 50th anniversary in 2026, alongside Ficom Leisure for 30 years of operational experience. The awards also included memorial recognition for Miquel Suqué Mateu, President of Casinos Grup Peralada (1962–2025), and the David Orrick Award for gaming journalism, presented to Pablo Zuppi of Yogonet Group.
