Regency Casino Thessaloniki unveils The Piazza Project, a landmark entertainment hub featuring Aristocrat Gaming, IGT and Light & Wonder
Regency Casino Thessaloniki has launched The Piazza Project, a pioneering gaming and leisure complex that unites three of the world’s leading slot machine manufacturers — Aristocrat Gaming, IGT, and Light & Wonder — in a unique open-air venue.
The Piazza features four state-of-the-art gaming halls, world-class dining, and live entertainment, making it a first-of-its-kind destination in Europe. Designed with bold architecture and a dynamic calendar of events, the project positions Thessaloniki as a landmark destination for entertainment and leisure.
The spectacular three-day launch welcomed more than 12,000 guests, who enjoyed world-class performances, gourmet dining, cultural showcases, and exclusive VIP experiences.
Blending cutting-edge gaming technology with cultural programming and an open-air lifestyle, The Piazza is being hailed by industry leaders as a model that could redefine the future of land-based casinos in Europe. The alliance of three global innovators represents both a European first and a benchmark for integrated leisure.
Yiannis Tsirikos, CEO of Regency Entertainment, said:
“The Piazza Project represents a significant investment that brings together Aristocrat Gaming, IGT, and Light & Wonder for the first time in a single European venue. We’re not just expanding our facilities – we’re creating a year-round entertainment hub that will attract visitors from across the region and establish Greece as a leader in the European leisure and gaming market.”
Positioned as an international hub, The Piazza Project reinforces Regency Casino Thessaloniki’s mission to establish Thessaloniki as a must-visit destination where gaming, culture, and entertainment converge.
