GOL EXPO PERU – Conference Agenda on latest regulation
Regulator Manuel San Román Benavente will be Keynote Speaker
The organizers of Gol Expo Peru announce the program of conferences that will be held over the morning of each day, before the exhibition and commercial display that will take place later this month at the María Angola Convention Centre in Miraflores, Lima on the 25th and 26th September.
The main focus of these meetings will be to analyse the current situation on legislation for this gaming segment, as well as the perspectives and the challenges of the online gaming industry that is forging its way through the South American continent. While primarily addressing the Peruvian market, the wider South American landscape will also be scrutinized to evaluate and assess emerging patterns and performance.
The opening of the conference will have as Keynote Speaker, Manuel San Román Benavente, Head of the General Director of Casino Games and Slot Machines of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru, (MINCETUR). Also in the programme is gaming attorney Carlos Fonseca, who will offer full advice to prospective operators on everything that the Peruvian legal systems has in store.
On day two a Round Table entitled “Internet Games” will be one of the highlights of GOL Expo Peru. With online gaming already regulated in Colombia, the analysis of the Colombian experience and the twelve authorized platforms will take place along with predictions of the regulation process in Peru. These are the central issues that will be tackled by leading companies: Italtronic – Here Game, Betcris, Dorado Bet, WPlay and BMM Testlabs who have confirmed their places at the round table and are preparing their presentations.
