GLI promotes four sales directors across EMEIA operations

Francesca Badon, Alberto Ruiz-Ocaña, Caio Parry and Antonino Santangelo take expanded account management and business development roles

Gaming Laboratories International has strengthened its commercial leadership across Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa with four senior promotions.

Francesca Badon, Caio Parry and Antonino Santangelo have been appointed Directors of Account Management for EMEIA, while Alberto Ruiz-Ocaña becomes Director of Business Development for the region.

The appointments give the promoted executives greater responsibility for customer relationships, commercial development and GLI’s continued expansion across a diverse collection of regulated and developing gaming markets.

Chris Davies, Vice President of EMEIA Sales at GLI, said:

“We are delighted to promote these four great leaders and see their careers progress within GLI. Together, they represent decades of gaming knowledge and experience, hugely benefiting our clients.

“As they have grown, so has the value they bring, and we look forward to exciting times for both them and the future of our industry.”

Experience across key European markets

Badon joined GLI in 2019 and most recently served as Senior Account Manager. She is based in Italy and will now lead account management activity as part of the company’s wider EMEIA commercial structure.

Ruiz-Ocaña has worked for GLI since 2021. Based in Spain, he previously held the position of Senior Business Development Manager for EMEIA and will now oversee broader business development responsibilities across the region.

Parry joined the company in 2018 as a Project Manager before progressing to Senior Account Manager. He is based in the United Kingdom.

Santangelo has also been with GLI since 2018 and was most recently a Senior Account Manager. He is based in Malta.

James Illingworth, Vice President of EMEIA Sales at GLI, said:

“These promotions reflect the strength of our EMEIA sales organisation and the leadership we continue to build across the region.

“Francesca, Alberto, Caio and Antonino each bring valuable market knowledge, strong client relationships and a clear understanding of the opportunities ahead. In their expanded roles, they will help us deepen our support for customers and strengthen GLI’s presence across EMEIA.”

GLI team prepares for SBC Summit Lisbon

Davies, Ruiz-Ocaña and Badon will join GLI’s wider EMEIA team at SBC Summit Lisbon, taking place from 29 September to 1 October.

The company will exhibit at Stand B238, where its representatives will meet operators, suppliers and regulators to discuss testing, certification and regulatory services for land-based and digital gaming markets.
