The gaming industry event combines networking with fundraising for Centro SUMA and Fundación Criantia at Paraíso Country Club
The initiative gives operators, suppliers and industry executives an opportunity to support programmes for children and families while strengthening professional relationships outside the exhibition environment.
GAT Events is sponsoring the fourth Golf & Gaming Tournament, being held on 27 August at Paraíso Country Club in Morelos. This is the second time the gaming events company has supported the tournament.
Participants are making personal and corporate donations for Centro SUMA and Fundación Criantia, the two organisations selected as beneficiaries.
Gaming industry meets around a social purpose
The tournament brings together leaders, operators and suppliers from Mexico’s gambling sector for a programme built around golf, networking and corporate social responsibility.
Alexandra Hernández, Commercial Director at GAT, is representing the company during the event.
GAT said its participation reflects a broader effort to connect businesses and executives from the Latin American gaming industry with organisations working on social programmes.
The company is also developing a separate relationship with Centro SUMA to improve awareness of its work and give its programmes greater visibility within the industry.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT México
“It is very important for GAT Events to support this project again. The gaming industry can create value not only through business and corporate development, but also by supporting causes that directly affect communities.
“This tournament allows us to contribute to the work carried out by Centro SUMA and Fundación Criantia in transforming lives. We therefore thank the organisers for the opportunity to share the Golf & Gaming Tournament’s purpose.”
Donations support children and families
Centro SUMA is a Mexican non-profit organisation that provides multidisciplinary care for children and adolescents born with cleft lip and palate who face social vulnerability.
Its services include medical treatment, surgery, psychological assistance and different forms of therapy. The organisation says its programmes are intended to support patients throughout their treatment and improve their social inclusion and quality of life.
Fundación Criantia works with parents, primary caregivers and educators to change harmful or overprotective parenting patterns.
Its programmes promote firm and caring boundaries, family communication, emotional development and healthier relationships between children and the adults responsible for their care.
Money donated through the tournament will contribute to the work of both organisations.
GAT expands its social responsibility plans
GAT Events intends to strengthen its corporate social responsibility activity across the jurisdictions where it organises events during the remainder of 2026 and throughout 2027.
The company wants its presence in different markets to contribute to local communities as well as supporting commercial development within the gaming industry.
Preparations are also underway for the next GAT Expo México. The event is scheduled for 2 and 3 June 2027 at Expo Santa Fe in Mexico City.
The programme will include an opening reception at Casino Big Bola Santa Fe, followed by a commercial exhibition bringing together slot machine manufacturers, operators, software developers, payment companies, sportsbook and online gaming platforms, and other technology providers.
