The Mexican casino operator gains greater control of its digital roadmap through a new interface, infrastructure and bespoke content management system
Greater ownership of the customer-facing product will allow Foliatti to make site changes without relying on its platform provider for every front-end decision.
The Mexican casino operator has partnered with MadMen to rebuild its online casino website. The project covers front-end development, infrastructure, a bespoke iGaming content management system and API integrations.
In-house front end gives Foliatti more control
The new structure moves Foliatti to an in-house front end, giving its team direct control over the interface and future product roadmap.
Foliatti will be able to adjust how content is presented, introduce market-specific functions and respond more quickly to changing customer behaviour. The approach is also intended to make future updates easier as the operator develops its online offering.
The project does not necessarily replace every element of Foliatti’s underlying gaming platform. Its main purpose is to give the operator greater ownership of the customer-facing layer and the systems used to manage it.
Foliatti already operates land-based casinos in Mexico and is seeking to strengthen its position in the country’s online casino market through a simpler and more flexible digital experience.
Partnership dates back to 2021
The latest development continues a relationship between Foliatti and MadMen that began with Foliatti Casino’s online launch in 2021.
MadMen worked on the operator’s original brand identity and website design as part of a project involving the EveryMatrix platform. The companies have since completed several other assignments together.
Further features are planned for the new front end. MadMen will continue adapting the product as Foliatti assesses customer requirements and establishes priorities for its digital roadmap.
Michel Groenendijk, Co-founder of MadMen
“When we first heard the proposal for this project, we were excited by the challenge of bringing it to life. In its earlier stages, things were still being built and worked out, so it required real teamwork between our two companies.
“Our team handled the more technical side, while Foliatti focused on how things worked for users. As the project came together, we shared feedback to help improve it. Overall, it was a productive partnership with the Foliatti team.
“There are many moving parts, including major overhauls and a completely new back-end system. It is a project we are proud to put our name to, and it would not have been possible without the expertise of our international team.”
Pamela Loman, Online Director at Foliatti
“As soon as we had the idea for this project, we knew MadMen would be the team to help make it happen. Their experience was invaluable when taking on a task like this.
“Having worked with the team for years, we knew the project would have the level of collaboration it needed. We are excited to see the impact for our customers through an improved site that is easier to navigate.”
