Thewissen: “We have seen substantial growth in online gaming activities and the interest in our products increased a lot”
“Due to the worldwide deterioration of the Covid 19 situation, our company, like all the others, is facing a very difficult situation while its operations and gaming halls are closed for business or widely limited, and we can only hope for an early turn to the better.
“However, the company is not idle and has decided to use this difficult period to improve and expand its portfolio of online games as since of the pandemic beginning.
“We have seen substantial growth in online gaming activities and the interest in our products increased a lot,” said Urbain Thewissen, International Sales Manager. “We are also intensively busy integrating game content to several well-established platform providers to fulfil increasing demand. Besides those integrations, we are developing new games and work on back-end improvements and innovations for both, land-based and online in terms of user-friendliness of the gaming environment and additions of new analytical and marketing tools which we consider very important from the perspective of the nearest future.”

“We have recently developed new game pack for Belgium, where we developed same games for land-based and online because the Belgian market is specific and shows that both operations are helping each other to have solid growth and the new games are well performing in both areas. This product is turning out to be quite popular, orders are coming in and we hope to see it successful in the market,” added Thewissen. “We also have ready new, completely certified version of Slovak VLT and Casino slots software, which meets all the new technical requirements based on new gaming law and technical regulations but also reflects requirements of the market and our customers. New games are a matter of course for this market as well and we assume them to be popular among players thanks to new concepts we have used.
“In Latin America, our operations started again – first in Mexico, then in Colombia and few days ago also in Panama. Despite the operations are still under many limitations and restrictions, mainly for the reasons to maintain health of all participants, we finally see some positive movements coming up in LatAm. The start was bit slow mainly due to health restriction but now that everybody is used to this new situation, we see a positive climb.
“We are working hard in all areas of our business and keep looking forward to positive future and return to our usual way of business and activities. We believe that if, despite the difficult situation, we preserve to work hard on our products, our efforts will return in upcoming months or maybe years,” concluded Thewissen.
