Bogotá to host 10th Ibero-American Gaming Summit in May 2026

Bogotá will host the 10th Ibero-American Gaming Summit on 5 and 6 May 2026, bringing together regulators from across the region to discuss oversight and market development

Bogotá will host the 10th Ibero-American Gaming Summit on 5 and 6 May 2026, with the event set to bring together regulators from across the continent to exchange experiences on the development and oversight of the gaming industry.

Held under the slogan “Latam: A regulated market that drives opportunities”, the summit will take place at the Bogotá Marriott Hotel, located on Avenida El Dorado, and will once again serve as a regional meeting point for public authorities and sector stakeholders focused on regulation, control and market evolution.

For this edition, Coljuegos will act as host institution, underlining Colombia’s role as a prominent reference point in gaming regulation in Latin America. José Angel Fernández Siruela, organiser of the event, said: “For this edition of the event, Coljuegos will be our host. We hope that the entity, which is an international reference in regulatory matters, can share its experiences with counterparts from other invited countries and, in turn, learn from the actions taken across the region.”

The event programme will be available through the summit’s official website and social media channels. According to organisers, the 2026 edition will also provide Coljuegos with an opportunity to present its accountability report on the work carried out during the previous year, highlighting achievements made under the current administration.

Marco Emilio Hincapié, President of Coljuegos, said: “We hope to be great hosts for this meeting which, in 2025 alone, brought together more than 150 attendees from 12 Ibero-American countries. This will also be an opportunity to present our accountability report for the management carried out in the previous period, where we will highlight the achievements reached by Coljuegos during the Government of Change.”

The Ibero-American Gaming Summit has established itself as an important global forum for the sector, created to meet the need for a space where regulators and stakeholders can debate key issues, share knowledge and exchange experiences aimed at strengthening a sector that plays an important role in the economies of participating countries.

Over the years, the event has been held in cities including Madrid in 2014 and 2015, Mexico City in 2016, Cartagena in 2017, Medellín in 2018, Lima in 2019 and 2025, Panama City in 2023, and San Juan in 2024.

Registration for the 2026 event is already open through the official summit website and via the organisation’s dedicated email channel. The international gathering is promoted by JAK Comunicación.
