The 10th Ibero-American Gaming Summit will take place on 5-6 May in Bogotá, bringing together regulators, operators and industry stakeholders to discuss taxation, regulation and market development across Latin America
With only a few days to go before the event opens, the 10th Ibero-American Gaming Summit is entering its final stretch with the programme already published and the list of attending regulators confirmed. The summit will be held on 5 and 6 May 2026 at the Bogotá Marriott Hotel in Colombia, under the theme “Latin America: A Regulated Market Driving Opportunities.”
The forum is designed to bring together gaming authorities and senior industry stakeholders from across the region, alongside international companies and trade associations. Organisers say the objective is to encourage debate around a more modern and harmonised regulatory framework adapted to evolving market realities in Latin America.
Confirmed regulatory participation includes representatives from Peru, Mexico, Paraguay, Portugal, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Brazil, El Salvador, Argentina (Buenos Aires) and Colombia, the host country. Earlier event updates also identified the summit as one of the region’s key institutional gatherings for gaming regulation.
According to the published programme, this year’s edition will focus on strategic themes including digitalisation, the rise of iGaming, artificial intelligence, responsible gaming, the adaptation of land-based gaming to online growth, and tax challenges in an increasingly digital environment. The event format combines presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities aimed at supporting a safer, more innovative and more sustainable gaming sector across the region.
Organiser José Ángel Fernández of JAK Comunicación said the summit highlights markets with the strongest growth potential, particularly those supported by stable regulatory governance. He also described the event as a meeting point for both the public and private sectors, where business opportunities and development prospects across different jurisdictions can be explored.
The summit also continues to attract backing from major international companies and sector organisations. Event materials and recent coverage show confirmed sponsors including Cirsa, GLI, Sharp Vision, Sportium, Novomatic, Oddin.gg, Wplay.co, BetPlay, Atomo Gaming, Ecobanka, SORA Lawyers, Alasca, AIEJA and Invest in Bogotá.
As the event approaches, Bogotá is once again being positioned as a major regional stage for regulatory discussion, cross-border dialogue and commercial networking in the Latin American gaming industry.
