Blueprint Gaming adds new Fire Lock Bonus to Cash Strike Slot Series

Cash Strike Fire Lock expands the supplier’s proven game family with hidden rows, Cash Prizes and a 10,724x max win

Blueprint Gaming has expanded its Cash Strike series with Cash Strike Fire Lock, a new online slot built around hidden rows, expanding bonus play and Money Collect mechanics.

The title carries a maximum win of 10,724x and is designed to build on the momentum of the Cash Strike family, which Blueprint says consistently ranks among its top 10 revenue-generating markets across regulated territories.

For operators, that matters. Strong-performing game families reduce launch risk, while new feature layers help keep familiar brands fresh in crowded slot lobbies.

Cash Strike Fire Lock’s main base-game feature is a fireball positioned above the reels. Each time a Cash Prize or Collect symbol lands, the fireball charges.

Once charged, the fireball can randomly trigger the Fire Lock Bonus by adding extra Cash Prize and Collect symbols to the reels.

The bonus can also be entered through a more traditional route. Players trigger it by landing Cash Prize symbols on reels one and three, together with a Collect symbol on reel two.

Once the Fire Lock Bonus begins, the grid expands vertically. Three additional locked rows appear above the base 3×3 game area.

During the bonus, every Cash Prize or Collect symbol that lands drives the action forward. Each new symbol moves the player closer to unlocking more rows and increasing the total available prize pool.

That structure gives the title a clear progression mechanic. Players can see the grid open up as the feature advances, which helps create a stronger sense of movement during bonus play.

Blueprint has also brought back the Hotstepper feature for this latest Cash Strike release.

In the base game, landing a Collect symbol on reel two triggers Hotstepper. The Collect symbol then moves down one position on each following spin until it steps out of view, creating extra chances to accumulate Money Collect wins.

Power Play also returns, continuing a feature that has become closely linked with Cash Strike releases.

Available at 5x, 10x or 20x the original bet, Power Play offers three modes in which only Cash Prize, Collect and Mystery symbols appear. This gives players an alternative route into the game’s higher-volatility moments.

The mix of Fire Lock Bonus, Hotstepper and Power Play gives Blueprint several layers to present. The base game supports regular collection moments, while the bonus adds expansion and locked-row progression.

That balance is important for a Cash Strike title. The family is built around simple collection logic, but each new version needs a clear twist to justify its place in operator portfolios.

Alex Naspe, Head of Marketing Intelligence at Blueprint Gaming

“Cash Strike has become one of our standout game families, and Fire Lock is the latest example of how we are evolving the series with fresh mechanics that keep gameplay engaging. By combining captivating features with the proven appeal of the brand, we are confident this release will resonate with players and operators across our regulated markets.”

The launch also shows how Blueprint continues to work its strongest game families. Rather than replacing proven mechanics, the studio is adding new layers that make the games easier to promote while preserving the structure players already recognise.

For regulated markets, that approach can be useful. Operators need content that is familiar, compliant, easy to explain and capable of sustaining revenue after launch.

Blueprint’s wider portfolio includes more than 500 titles, with proprietary brands such as Fishin’ Frenzy and King Kong Cash, as well as licensed properties including The Goonies, ted and Game of Thrones.

The studio also offers Jackpot King and Rapid Fire Jackpots, giving operators different routes to player engagement, while Blueprint Retain provides promotional tools designed to support retention without added operational complexity.

Blueprint is part of Germany’s Merkur Group and is licensed to develop and supply online games by regulators including the UK Gambling Commission, Alderney Gambling Control Commission, Malta Gaming Authority, Gibraltar Regulatory Authority, Swedish Gambling Authority and Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

Its games are certified for play across regulated markets including the UK, Alderney, Malta, Gibraltar, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain and Canada.

Cash Strike Fire Lock therefore arrives with a clear commercial purpose. It extends a proven brand, adds new bonus depth and gives operators another Blueprint title built for regulated-market distribution.

The key test will be whether the new Fire Lock feature can turn familiar Cash Strike mechanics into stronger long-term engagement.
