Blueprint Gaming has expanded one of its strongest branded slot franchises with The Goonies Cash Inferno, a new release built around the supplier’s Money Collect mechanic and the adventure style of the 1980s film classic.
The title introduces the new Cash Inferno feature, upgraded Skeleton Key modifiers and bonus play designed to give returning players a familiar format with a fresh layer of anticipation.
The Goonies has been a long-running branded property for Blueprint, giving the studio a recognisable IP platform that can support sequels, mechanic upgrades and new feature sets across regulated markets.
Cash Inferno is the central gameplay addition in this release. It gives players another route to Money Collect wins during base play.
The feature is activated when coloured Skeleton Keys land alongside a Goonies Never Say Die symbol on reels one and/or six. Once triggered, the keys collect cash prizes from the golden panel placed to the left of the reelset.
Each coloured key has its own modifier. Green Keys collect a single cash value when they land. Blue Keys can collect up to five values at once. Red Keys come with multipliers that can increase each collected prize.
This gives the mechanic a clear progression path. Players can understand the basic collect behaviour quickly, while the different key colours add more variation and higher win potential.
The title also brings back the Treasure Trail, one of the recognised features from the Goonies slot series. Every Green Gem advances players along the trail toward hidden rewards.
Four milestones on the trail award bonus picks that carry into the bonus game. Completing the trail instantly grants bonus access.
The traditional route to Inferno Spins comes through landing three bonus scatter symbols. Landing four bonus scatter symbols automatically completes the Treasure Trail, launching the feature with any remaining bonus picks already unlocked.
During Inferno Spins, only key symbols, Goonies Never Say Die symbols and bonus symbols remain in play. Golden One-Eyed Willy can also appear, unlocking up to four upgrade levels that increase Cash Inferno values and strengthen win potential as the bonus continues.
