The award recognises the supplier’s casino technology as it expands its platform business across Latin America
The recognition strengthens Blokotech’s profile among operators seeking platforms built for the regulatory, payment and operating requirements of Latin American markets.
Blokotech received the Best Casino Platform award during the inaugural SiGMA North America Awards in Mexico City.
The ceremony formed part of SiGMA North America, held from 1 to 3 September at Centro Banamex. The event brought together operators, suppliers, affiliates and technology companies from North America and Latin America.
Platform combines content and operating tools
Blokotech’s casino platform allows operators to build and manage online casino offerings through a single technology environment.
According to the company, the platform combines gaming content with the infrastructure required to support different operating models and local market requirements.
Blokotech’s website lists more than 14,000 games from over 90 content providers. Its wider product range includes turnkey and white-label solutions developed with a particular focus on Latin America.
The company has also been expanding through integrations and commercial partnerships across the region.
Alberto Alfieri, Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Blokotech
“Winning Best Casino Platform is a big moment for the business and reflects the work our team has put into building technology that gives operators the flexibility they need to compete in very different markets.
“Latin America is in our DNA and forms a core part of our business strategy, so receiving this award makes it especially meaningful.
“We have built the platform around what operators need on the ground, and we will continue investing in the technology, content and partnerships that help our customers grow.”
Hall of Game recognises industry figures
The awards programme also included SiGMA’s Hall of Game, which recognises individuals who have contributed to the development of the gambling industry.
The 2026 honourees included Miguel Ángel Ochoa Sánchez, Executive President of Mexico’s Association of Permit Holders, Operators and Suppliers of Games and Draws, known as AIEJA.
Evert Montero, President of Colombia’s Fecoljuegos and the International Federation of Gambling Associations, was also recognised.
The evening incorporated Mexican cultural performances and an Alebrije-inspired production. An art auction raised funds for SiGMA Foundation projects involving education, healthcare and assistance for vulnerable communities.
The award result reflects the assessment made through SiGMA’s awards process. It does not constitute an independent technical certification of Blokotech’s platform.
