The gaming industry is focused on ensuring our responsible gaming (RG) commitment grows in unison with the expansion of legal sports betting and interactive gaming. This requires gaming operators and suppliers to adapt brick and mortar RG programs to new audiences and formats, create innovative products to address evolving needs, and think differently about responsible gaming.
The AGA webinar on October 6 at 2:30 PM EDT is open to everyone for a discussion on:
- How responsible gaming is evolving with new gaming formats
- Addressing the responsible gaming continuum—from consumer education to self-exclusion
- Extending responsible gaming to marketing and advertising

Becky Harris, Distinguished Fellow in Gaming and Leadership at UNLV, International Gaming Institute. Becky Harris is a recognized expert on gaming policy and regulation, legislative affairs, and workplace sexual harassment prevention. Harris is often called upon nationally to discuss policy and regulatory issues relating to legal sports wagering. As an academic fellow with an emphasis in the study of sports betting, Harris collaborated with stakeholders to finalize the formation, launch, and first convening of the U.S. Sports Betting Forum, an outlet designed to provide a neutral forum in which stakeholders can convene to discuss policy and regulatory issues relating to legal sports wagering.
Richard Taylor, Jr., Responsible Gambling Program Manager at BetMGM. Richard Taylor, Jr. is the Responsible Gambling Program Manager for BetMGM where he oversees the company’s responsible gambling strategy, initiatives, and functions. Prior to his current role, Richard worked for MGM Resorts International as its Executive Director of Responsible Gaming and Military Affairs.
Cait DeBaun, Senior Director, Strategic Communications & Responsibility at the AGA. Cait DeBaun is senior director, strategic communications and responsibility at the American Gaming Association (AGA). In her role, DeBaun develops and leads integrated communications strategies to promote the social and economic value of the $261 billion U.S. casino gaming industry. She also oversees for industry responsibility efforts, including the Responsible Marketing Code for Sports Wagering, Responsible Gaming Education Week, and the AGA’s Have A Game Plan® campaign.
